Ce trimaran a toujours navigué en eau douce, par vent modéré et sans jamais forcer, restant au sec sous hangar pendant 3 ans. Malgré ses 20 ans, il est dans un état impeccable. Il navigue très vite et remonte au vent mieux qu'un Surprise grâce à sa dérive sabre très efficace.
Montage, mâtage (je mâte seul et sans grue) et mise à l'eau en une demie journée. Largeur sur la remorque 2,4 m.

Notizie varie

Il trimarano ha navigato sempre sull’ acqua dolce: sul lago di Zurigo col suo primo proprietario e sul lago di Lugano con me ( secondo proprietario). Sui nostri laghi soffia al massimo una leggera brezza per tanto la barca e il suo armo non hanno mai subito ne l’ aggressione del salino ne gli sforzi del vento forte e delle onde che normalmente provoca solo il mare. Prima che lo acquistassi la barca e rimasta all’ asciutto coperta in un capannone per 3 anni. Così benché abbia 20 anni si presenta quasi allo stato del nuovo !
La barca è velocissima ( medie di 15 nodi e punte di 20) e grazie alla sua lunga deriva a baionetta bolina meglio che i « surprise di Archambolt ». Lo si toglie dall’ acqua, lo si smonta e si albera, in due adulti, in circa 3 ore di lavoro.
Ho un sistema di « cappre » che permette di montare e smontare l’ albero in pochi minuti senza la gru. Larghezza smontato 2,4 metri.

Story & notices

The trimaran has always being navigating in sweet water. Over the lake of Zürich and afterwards of Lugano with at max. low wind. For this reason it has never undergone to big pressures. Between the two periods it has been preserved in a hangar for three years. Considering its 20 years of life, the boat is in a impeccable condition.
It navigates very quickly and goes up against the wind better than a “surprise”. It’s keel type sabre is very performance.
To take the boat out of water, to dismount/remount including moving down and up the mast (I mast by myself without crane) you need about half a day.
