Irus 5.50

Un dériveur de 5.50m high tech à coque planante aux performances équivalentes à celles de catamarans de sports de 18' ou 20'.

Ce dériveur, destiné à la série, a été intégralement imaginé par son concepteur Guillaume Verdier.

Son idée originale, née en 2001, consistait à tester la forme de futurs 60 pieds Imoca destinés à courrir le Vendée Globe.

Juin 2008 : Le premier exemplaire sort de chantier.
