Dessiné par Dick Newick comme un racer/cruiser , l'un des premiers Créative a été construit en France par les frères le Jeloux à Saint Philibert pour la Route du Rhum 1982.La construction a été faite selon le procédé west system avec plusieurs plis de mahagony moulés à froid pour donner un bateau solide et très marin.
